Prior to joining CAU, Prof. Orth held positions as Associate Professor at Oregon State University (U.S.A.), Professor at Mendel University Brno (Czech Republic), and Assistant Professor at Munich University of Technology.
Prof. Orth’s research interests include buyer behavior and psychology, often in the context of visual design, consumer-brand-relationships, and cross-cultural issues. Prof. Orth has published widely, his articles appearing in numerous leading journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Advertising, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of International Marketing, International Journal of Research in Marketing, and Journal of Social Psychology.
Professor Orth currently serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice and the Journal of Business Research.
