Before Michael Proksch became Research Assistant and Ph. D. Student at the University of Kiel in 2009, he worked as management consultant for marketing in the area of financial reconstruction and foundation. He studied at the University of Leipzig and finished with Diploma in Business Administration. He completed his Ph.D. in 2011 and is currently researcher and lecturer. His research interests include consumer psychology, cognitive psychology in particular memory and emotion processes, relationship marketing linked with attachment research, and consumer personality in both areas. He was teaching Marketing Principles, Marketing Research, Marketing Strategy, Neuromarketing, and Consumer Psychology at the CAU as well as the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel.
